Many cultures, peoples, events and ideologies have educated and influenced YogaPlot.Founder Kathryn Ryan. Most recently, the jungles and Pacific Ocean of Central America where she trained in Interdisciplinary Yoga, and then as a Children’s Yoga Specialist, at the prestigious Nosara Yoga Institute, Costa Rica.
In the very beginning… whilst training in Mass Communications to become a Journalist in her native home of Australia, an anthropology professor slammed the portentous textbook onto the lectern pronouncing, “You’ll never learn anything about life from this! You have to get out there and experience it.” She took his passionate discourse literally. The result? A rich tapestry of experience and practical wisdom.
In the past 15 years, Kath has relocated to three continents, grown roots in Canada, made numerous jaunts to far-off lands, but still calls Australia home.
